John Forsythe is the club professional at Vicars
Cross Golf Club and has a wealth of knowledge and
experience spanning nearly thirty years. We all need
help, advice and guidance from time to time and John
is an excellent person to contact whatever our needs.
John turned professional in 1980 after working
as an assistant professional from the time he left
school. He became the professional at Vicars Cross
Golf Club in 1989 and has enjoyed many happy
and successful years at the club.
The shop is well equipped and stocked with all the
latest equipment, clothing and accessories from
all the leading names, much as you would expect.
John majors on three main brands, Callaway,
Benross and Titleist.
Where Titleist is concerned, John is shortly to
become a custom fit centre, so you can have
complete confidence that the set of woods or
irons you are purchasing will be set up to your
exacting requirements.
Because we are all built differently and have
different swing speeds and styles, it is a good
idea to try out a range of clubs and shafts before
purchasing. John offers this facility and will also
give you all the advice and guidance you will need.
Most of us need lessons from time to time to
improve different aspects of our game and these
can be arranged through John in the shop. He will
be pleased to set up a convenient time with Steve
Priest with whom he works closely.
Whether a member or a visitor to Vicars Cross,
