Mark joined MGY in 1992 as a Graduate Surveyor, qualifying in 1996 as a Member Of The Royal Institution Of Chartered Surveyors. In his time at MGY Mark has worked extensively across our Commercial Department as well as our Survey Department. Mark leads the survey and valuation department and deals with all aspects of commercial property within South Wales. Mark is responsible for our relationships with land developers and oversees both residential and commercial land development for MGY. In his spare time Mark coaches his son’s football team, Ty Celyn, which keeps him fit and healthy. He is also an avid Cardiff Rugby supporter. Michelle Bishop Michelle joined the company in 1990 as sales negotiator, moving into a new role as our founder Michael Young’s PA, eventually becoming a director of the company in 2016. A people person Michelle is organised, diligent with a “Can Do” attitude. Michelle is responsible for managing operations and HR. Michelle switches off by spending time with family and enjoying long walks with friends around Roath Park Lake and Parc Cefn Onn. For anybody looking to make a move into property or rise through the ranks into leadership, Michelle’s best advice is: “Grow your people handling skills, don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty and study the market to get a real understanding of how an estate agency business operates.” James Thomas James leads our Radyr Office, New Homes and Marketing. James is a former pupil of Radyr High School. A talented rugby player James enjoyed a successful playing career from Cardiff & Wales age grade into semi-professional and professional rugby. James joined the business in 2012 as a Sales & Lettings Negotiator position moving onto Commercial Agency. From there James has risen through our ranks and taken a leadership role where he has progressed from Assistant Sales Manager, Branch Manager and now Director. Our brand guardian James has a passion for marketing and through his eye for detail and a pursuit of excellence James ensures that both our overall brand and branch office in Radyr is portrayed clearly, consistently and professionally. James has demonstrated the hallmark attributes of a successful estate agent by way of hard work, persistence and by treating his colleagues with care and respect.
