21 We are delighted to have been transitioning our iconic fleet of Minis to the Mini Electric and Electric Hybrid models recently and we plan to continue this phasing out the petrol cars over the coming months. We’ve become adept at locating the charging points and making sure the cars are topped up for their next trip so at any time they are on standby and waiting for the next call out. Whilst the full electric models serve the City and surrounding areas admirably the hybrid version is great for longer and more rural trips where a greater distance needs to be covered or there may be no charging facility at the other end. As a combination they provide us with complete coverage and versatility whilst improving our environmental impact significantly. All the cars are still branded with eye-catching themes in our familiar and striking house colours – look out for the new electric thunderbolts!
